Hello my 50-Cent-Army! It’s good to be back in the swing of things after our trip to Australia and New Zealand. We have just one more episode and a fan meet-up video from the trip left to upload.

But of course the big news is that we have another trip on the horizon! I’ve been invited to speak at the Oslo Freedom Forum, which means they’ll be sending me to Norway! I’ll be in a panel discussion called The Dark Side of Tech. They’ve asked me to talk about how the Chinese Communist Party uses technology to create a more harmonious, oppressive society. I’ll be joined on the panel by Megha Rajagopalan, BuzzFeed's Asia Bureau Chief; Dr. Rumman Chowdhury, Data Scientist for Artificial Intelligence at Accenture; and Aviv Ovadya, Chief Technologist at the Center for Social Media Responsibility. The panel will be moderated by David Rowan, the founding UK editor-in-chief of WIRED. It’s a pretty big event so stay tuned for more announcements about it.

We’ll also be interview a special guest on the show later this month. I won’t say who just yet, but it’s a perspective you’ll want to hear.

In other news, Shelley, Matt, and I have rolled out a podcast! It’s as of yet unnamed, but we have two episodes out and more to come. Have you listened yet? You can listen here.
