Greetings to the China Uncensored 50-Cent Army! 

It’s been a busy time for us here. We had a great trip to Washington DC recently where we had the amazing opportunity to interview General Robert Spalding. It was absolutely terrifying! For example, how billions of dollars of US investment is tied to the China market. So I hope you enjoyed the China Uncensored interview with him as well as the China Unscripted podcast. 

While we were there, we also had the chance to meet with Ian Easton of the Project 2049 Research Institute again. That was the interview we did about whether Taiwan should get nuclear weapons. 

In other news, we’re gearing up for another likely trip to Oslo for the Oslo Freedom Forum. It’s a wonderful human rights conference. We were in Oslo last year and got to meet a bunch of incredible, passionate human rights activists. Our old pal Anastasia Lin was also there. It’s also the same organization that hosted the event in Taiwan we went to late last year. We’re still nailing down some potential interviews, but I think we’ll be able to which you some good episodes from the trip. One thing we’ve discovered—no matter what authoritarian regime you’re talking about, no matter where in the world, the Chinese Communist Party is operating somewhere behind the scenes.

And just a heads up for you America Uncovered fans, we’ve just hired a new writer!  We’re hoping to be able to bump up production to two episodes a week. To be clear, we don’t use patreon support from China Uncensored to fund America Uncovered, or vice versa. The shows are financially separate. Just wanted to share the good news. 

One final note: I’ve been trying to beef up the China Uncensored Instagram page, so check it out if you haven’t! I’m also trying to expand the scope of it so maybe a name change is in order. Maybe it should become the World Uncensored Instagram page…
