Totally Addictive MMO (WIP Preview)

WARNING THE FULL VERSION OF THIS STORY WILL CONTAIN: Alex, Clover, and Sam (Totally Spies) Slobification (Weight Gain, Burping, and Farting)

It was a classic route burned into the girls’ memories. A slip through the backdoor after liberal use of a lipstick laser, followed by slinking through corridors while avoiding the security patrols. Taking the typical route of a ventilation shaft brought them to their destination of a room in the deepest part of the facility.

Sam was the first to descend, her long flowing, red hair flittering against her green jumpsuit. Upon seeing Sam signal that the coast was clear, Clover came down next without even a single strand of her neck-length blonde hair falling upon her jumpsuit’s red material. The sneaky approach was somewhat ruined by a splash of yellow falling from the vent. Turning around, Sam and Clover were quick to shoosh Alex as she picked herself up and brush a cobweb out of her short, black hair.

Not hearing any alarms or oncoming guards, the girls continued to make their way towards the center of the facility. The sheer size and expanse of the building made it all the more surprising that it was owned by a company focused on making video games. WOOHP had given them a short briefing, informing the girls that the Pertivision company had used their recent success with a wildly popular MMO to fund a series of less than savory experiments. Fearing the worst, the agency had sent in their top agents to snoop around for any sinister plans. As the three girls managed to sneak into the innermost chamber, those supposed sinister plans were looking a little more plausible.

Past a bulkhead door was a room with thick metal walls lit by fluorescent ceiling lights. The only things featured in the room were three desktop computers alongside a group of weird looking chairs. Upon closer inspection, the chairs looked more suited to be couches looking at their sheer size. The metal thrones were padded with soft cushions and a plethora of compartments that showed no immediate reason for inclusion.

As each of the girls took their time looking over the chairs, they all jumped at the sound of the door to the room locking itself up tight. Before the three of them could have a chance to formulate an escape plan, the seemingly innocent chairs extended sets of metallic tendrils. The robotic appendages proved more than capable of subduing the three spies and pulling them into the chairs’ soft embrace. Despite the girls’ efforts to struggle free, their squirming came to a halt as each of them were fitted with a helmet.

“I see I have some volunteers.”

Out of the corners of their eyes, the girls could see a man in a lab coat standing behind an observation window. If the scraggly grey beard wasn’t unsettling enough, the pair of thick rimmed glasses in front of his gleaming eyes and his malevolent grin did the trick. Reaching into his pocket, the man pulled out a small notepad and cleared his throat.

“Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Dr. Teld, head of research for Blade Craft Network’s game developments. The three of you have come at the right time. I have just finished the prototypes for our augmented reality chairs.”

“Let us go!” Sam said, the other girls voicing their own objections.

“I will in a moment,” Dr. Teld said. “First, I’ll have you run through the tutorial. It should be the best way to let you get a handle on how the mechanics work and allow me to judge your integration with the AR Chairs.”

The visors over the girls’ heads flashed to replace the emotionless chamber with the image of a peaceful meadow nearby a mysterious forest and the view of a massive mountain in the distance. Their ability to marvel at the realistic graphics was halted by a series of screens popping up in their faces to create their characters. As they reached out to fill in their information, a single press of a button was enough to cover the screens in detail about their bodies that was a little too close for comfort.

“Apologies, but I do want to get this over with both quickly and efficiently,” Dr. Teld explained. “I hope you enjoy your roles.”

Another flash had the girls looking through the eyes of their avatars. They had the exact features and figures of their regular bodies but adorned in outfits straight form the renaissance fair. Sam had been designated as the caster of the group, evidenced by the wide-brimmed hat perched on her head and the flowing, blue robes around her body. A bandoleer of daggers was fastened across Alex’s leather chest plate, one of the many weapons hidden by her roguish, hooded cloak. While their outfits looked impressive, the same sentiment was not shared with Clover.

“Like, what is this ugly thing?” Clover asked as she looked over the furred armor adorning herself.

“It looks like fur armor you’d see on a barbarian,” Sam answered.

“That thick fur should protect you pretty well,” Alex added.

“How in the world is it supposed to protect me with all of this?” Clover asked, gesturing towards her generous cleavage window and thong-like loincloth.

The girls’ attempt to help Clover’s mood was put on hold upon the arrival of a horde of goblins from the nearby forest. With no time to argue, the group got to work using their character’s abilities to take down each monster. What started off as just a means to please the crazy doctor turned into something else as the battle continued. Clover distaste for her outfit became overshadowed by a rush of adrenaline that reignited each time she slammed her hammer down on a goblin’s head. Alex moved faster than she ever could in the real world, easily weaving between the horde of monsters to stick them with dozens of dagger stabs in the blink of an eye.

Around the time that Sam let off her 17th fireball to burn away the mass of goblins, the world around her began to flicker. The other girls stopped their battle upon realizing that they were getting dragged out of the virtual world. Being forced to return to reality, they soon realized that they were surrounded by a group of men in suits.

“You don’t understand,” Dr. Teld said, his cries for help directing the girls’ attention towards him and the group of WHOOP agents surrounding him. “What I am doing here is to the benefit of all mankind.”

“Is that so?” Jerry asked, doing a strangely good job at being intimidating with his thinning grey hair. “Then why did you find it necessary to keep my agents locked in your chairs for the last twelve hours?”

   “Twelve hours!?” the girls replied.

“I genuinely cannot express how sorry I am for all of this,” another man in a blue suit said, fidgeting with his ponytail of brunette hair. “As much as I want to wash my hands of the whole ordeal with me being on vacation at the time, as head of this company I cannot let this go unpunished.” Walking up to the girls, the man bowed. “My name is Robby Hotick and I am deeply sorry for everything Dr. Teld has done and I promise to give you adequate medical treatment to deal with the nanobots he put into your bloodstream.”

“Nanobots!?” the girls shouted in unison once more.

“Yes, my most marvelous creation,” Dr. Teld answered as he was dragged away by security. “What you fools don’t understand is the repercussions of what will happen without my supervision.”

“I’m sure we’ll be able to handle it fine without your ‘help’, Dr. Teld,” Mr. Hotick answered as Dr. Teld was taken away.

“We’ll handle the rest from here girls,” Jerry said. “You three head home and get some rest.”

“Maybe we should get a bite to eat first,” Alex said. “My stomach feels a little weird.”

“Makes sense considering we’ve been sitting in those chairs for hours,” Sam added.

“Alright, just don’t make it anything too fattening,” Clover said. “I’m trying to lose weight for BWOOOOOORRRRRP!”

The room went silent for a moment, letting the shock of Clover’s burp fully sink in. The belch was soon followed by another erupting from Sam’s mouth. While the two girls stared at one another in an attempt to deal with their embarrassment, it all got blown away in the wake of a rippling fart billowing out from Alex’s rear.

Jerry scratched his chin and looked away from the blushing girls and towards the company president. “Didn’t the doctor say there would be side effects? Could you elaborate?”

“It’s a bit complicated,” Mr. Hotick replied. “I’ll see if Teld will be willing to write it all down in layman’s terms once he’s had a chance to calm his nerves. In the meantime, my company would be more than willing to provide anything you girls need. Just say the word and it will be done.”

The girls looked at one another. Though none of them said a word under the threat of releasing another gas bubble, the looks they gave one another was more than enough to communicate a similar idea. After clearing her throat to avoid any further gas expulsions, Same stepped forward. “We have a few UURRRP suggestions.”
