Sitting on the edge of their beds, Harry and Ron were left to ponder how they had gotten into this situation. Sure they had played major roles in foiling Voldemort’s plans, but that didn’t mean they could avoid doing make up school work. Bemoaning the fact that Hermione had sped through the material like it was nothing, the two pondered if anyone their age was taking remedial classes back at Hogwarts. Rather than waste another second lingering on this fact, Harry stood up, adjusted his glasses, and got ready to start his lesson.
Having drawn the short straw as the target, Ron scratched at his red hair as Harry got ready to cast the spell at him. While Harry did his best to recite the incantation to the best of his ability, a slight mispronunciation was all it took to make the spell go awry. As a red spark flew from the tip of his wand and hit Ron, the two of them immediately realized their grave mistake.
Ron’s body became as thin as a bedsheet as he began to turn a pale white. His newly flattened form began to twist and turn into the air as his facial features disappeared within his cotton texture. Shrinking down to the size of Harry’s waist, Ron fell back down to the floor as a pair of white underwear. Grimacing at the way the underpants resembled his own pair sitting in the drawer behind him, Harry grasped his charmed friend and rushed to find Hermione to reverse the effects.
