UAF Public Discord Server?

I mean if not a public one I'd apperciate one that's not locked behind a 50 dollar sub that's not even available rn

I voted yes, and the headaches are easily mitigated with trustworthy admins. also, setting up a tip jar in the discord could help mitigate the cost of running a server if a bigger one is needed at some point, and also promotes community interaction/appreciation to the artist.

why would i say no to more stuff on this mod. Its my favorite for the whole game that i never play without.

voted no, an additional server even if its barebones still require moderators to watch over, and there are many avenue for people to do discussion over UAF mod itself and anything happen over there would most likely be a huge distraction to the team itself ( js realized ironcladlion pretty much said all these but yea same opinion on this )

I feel like that's just more work for the team, rather have one discord mod for UAF than two. There's already all the other social media sites for discussions for this mod. So lets just keep one discord server for now.

If only for a bit more on hand stuff 'bout the mod, but mostly you and the dev team. I for one would be interested in a bit more "personal" stuff, in depth questions, follower playtogethers, stuff like that.

I would like a public discord since(im not sure i should be saying this.) other one is closed off. It means people like me can join and talk about UAF without haveing to go through reddit which itself is eh or the weird forums that fractal has. Even if you dont want to do it im sure one of us around here can

It means more work, and there is already Reddit, Fractal Forums, and even the unofficial Discord server if people really want to talk about the mod more. I don't feel like UAF enthusiasts are lacking anything. The UAF has a discord already, and making another one would simply complicate things and split people between them. I think the UAF development team should focus on the mod, and well, stay focused. The current setup has worked great so far.

If it means to be able to discuss with other people of the whole lore you have created, I'm in. But if there is any troll/bot/ scam problems we need to be prepared.
