UAF 0.75 Teaser - Keycard Shop!
Added 2024-02-08 09:47:56 +0000 UTCGuess what fellas? We accidentally progressed the mod update so hard that we went beyond 300%! The first iteration of the keycard shop is up and ready for playtest starting the next update.
All this were made because thanks to you guys providing financial and player support to the United Aurora Federation mod! Thanks for letting us have more time to cook than releasing it half-baked!~
What's the purpose of the keycard shop?
A: Its to make use of an existing useless vanilla item ( survey data ) and encourage players to explore beyond the core worlds! Instead of selling those information to some random markets, why not give them to the Aurorans? They find it valuable because they're not native to the Sector, so they'd like to learn what's beyond their space... in exchange, you get to enjoy their experimental and resource support!
A: It's to also feature ships, weapons and others that aren't fitting in the UAF line-up but still deserves to be available to acquire.

2024-02-08 11:37:02 +0000 UTCYou make me happy. The once useless Survey Data and Keycards, which served just as monetary gain, which is MEH, since if you have plenty of Credits but no use for it. This completely solves it. Making exploration more rewarding than simply just the initial loot you get. I think of it as a "Exchange Shop". Thank you very, very much for this! Take care!
