That's probably one of the few things I wouldn't want to see, but I guess every multiple path story need one sacharine end where everything is swell. But overall, I prefer him post-Queen encounter, visually at least. His personality didn't actually change that much if you think about it.

So I'll say Adam knew all the time Bukka wouldn't keep her free will, spills the beans and she get's one last chance of using that gun he left for her...
