2018-10-20 21:54:52 +0000 UTCThe only way for a female/herm to transform into a queen is by letting the Breeder King impregnate her, which isn't supposed to happen since he has to pledge full loyalty to the original Breeder Queen. Multiple -active- queens will cause divisions and mayhem to the hive. Getting knocked up by the Alpha Breeder results in a Royal Egg, which contains the future Queen who will take over when the current Queen dies.
