2019-03-26 06:41:50 +0000 UTCNot exactly: There're only two ways to create a Breeder Queen. -One of them comes from the intercourse between the Alpha Breeder (the one who knocked up Vodka in Episode III) and a female or herm, resulting in a royal egg that contains the future Breeder Queen. -The second way is... by letting the Breeder King (in this case, Adam) breed and corrupt a female/herm. The Breeder King was corrupted directly by the Queen herself, so he can pass his "Royal corruption" to other people. That's the main reason why the Queen doesn't want him to breed anyone else: to avoid multiple queens in the hive. A herm who has been corrupted by a regular Breeder can make a lot of eggs (in both ways), but she's not a Queen so she doesn't have any authority in the hive. All this will be better explained in the in-game wiki.

But in episode 2 wasnt it said that the herms were given outstanding breeding and DNA altering abilities like the breeder queen? So shouldn't there be hundreds of breeder queens out there or am I just thinking waaay too hard about this?
