BTS 'life goes on' official MV REACTION!!!

The Bangtan boys in their cutie pajamas having a slumber party healed something inside of me today. ❤️

I feel like a broken record saying it but I LOVE that BTS worked so hard during quarantine to help people cope with how scary and unpredictable the world during that time.

The song Life Goes On is beautiful in every way possible. The lyrics are so comforting and almost help me to time travel back into that scary era and even though i wasn't an Army at that time, it still gives me an overwhelming sense of happiness to see the boys smiling through the pain just to make us happy. They really are the best. TT__TT

Did BTS help you get through quarantine? In what way? ❤️

I love the BE album, it really has a special place in my heart cuz it was my first comeback as an army! My favorite songs are Blue and Gray, Stay, and Dis-ease, but, of course I love all of them!

Raíssa Tonin

Peachy Saiyan

I love BE 🫶 All the songs are great, my favorites are LGO and Blue & Grey. I would love an album reaction. Blue & Grey performance on MTV Unplugged is so beautiful!

Lotta

There's a live performance of LGO where the starting verse of Like an echo.... Is sung by army around the world in the acreen behind them as a surprise.... That is the best Live performance of this song, you can see BTS lit up when seeing ARMY behind them, i forgot the live tho... Somebody help me here😁

Fly to My Room is AMAZING! It hits me right in the feels every time! 🥰

Phyllis St. Pierre

OOP! I gotta go back for those, thank you!!

They have a version of this "in the forest", which gives you all the frolicking in the meadow vibes for real. A lot of their songs have special versions for festa (this was released during 2024's festa week). This video made me bawl my eyes out when I first saw it. It hit me hard. A LOT of their songs do, but this came out of the blue. I love it but I always cry. I do better watching the forest version. Airplane Part II has a pool party version and it's great too. It's chaotic and glorious. I'll drop the request here again to please watch the spinebreaker video, the making of the video, and their life performance of it (I think it was a Gayo and in South America). The boys had to pick the song, and then do a complete mv for it. IN THE HOTEL. Complete with choreography and costuming And guess who got those jobs? MR WWH JIN!!! It's sooo good. Even if you don't react to it, please watch it. Same for the House Of Army skit where all the boys make up a family of Army with Jhope as mom. I won't spoil the other roles. You have to watch it. You gotta. 💜💜

Lily McAlister

I wonder what Playlist of MVs she is going off of

Venita Morse

boy meets evil too!

KRip23

Jimin took over the role of music project manager, V took over the role of visual project manager, Jin and Suga worked on the album design.

Bernix100

I think you skipped an MV "We Are Bulletproof The Eternal".

Venita Morse

Everyone already said what I wanted to say 🔥💜 I love BE album so much, it was such a comfort to me at a scary time (and still is). It was also fun getting to see them work on this project over the course of 2020 when we were all bored! Has anyone sent you this album yet?

steph

Not Jin with the longass neck 😭😭 Peachy you always manage to crack me up even watching the emotional and wholesome songs lmao. Life Goes on is so beautiful! Is one of my all time favorite BTS songs! This song and the whole BE album have a special place in my heart. It's so comforting and good + all the members heavily participated in every musical, visual and creative aspect. They dropped several videos and lives making and planning this album before releasing it so it was like if we were working with them which was so cool. After that they did many interviews including one of them interviewing each other and... Wow we learned a lot of them as artists and their feelings during pandemic.I 100% recommend you to watch it someday after you listen to the BE album 💜 'BE-hind' Story Interview: https://www.youtube.com/live/cNomzAh3-tY?si=zFuuiOqmk1wRdiCD

Our genius director Jungkook :()

HalSonyeondan

The Life Goes On music video was directed by Jungkook! And since it's a song about a pandemic, they wanted to make it as realistic as possible. They wanted to convey a real message to the fandom, so all the scenes inside the house were recorded in their real house! They still lived together in 2020, and all the scenes, such as the bedroom, living room, bathroom, etc., were recorded in their dorm at the time! The concept of the BE album was precisely to be something realistic to convey a message during the difficult times we were going through, so it was an album ENTIRELY made by the members. In other albums, you can see the names of several producers, directors, etc., but not in this one! The boys took care of absolutely everything! From Jungkook directing the Life Goes On music video to all the members having composed and produced at least 1 song on the album! Jungkook wrote Stay, directed the MV, Taehyung wrote Blue Gray, in fact Blue & Grey is a song that was going to be on his album but they ended up deciding to put it on BE, it is one of the fandom's favorites, the lyrics are extremely personal and sad, it talks about the time of Tae's burnout. Well, like I said, it was an album where the members took care of everything, they wrote, produced and recorded everything, it is an album 100% made by them, so to speak! Life Goes On was the first song in Korean to reach #1 on Billboard, they achieved that right after the success of Dynamite! Dynamite was released on August 21st and Life Goes On on November 26th I think, something like that. IT IS AN AMAZING ALBUM! Since it was made by the boys, you feel a different target, you know, the message they convey is incredible!!

Amanda De lima

Blue & Grey is my favorite BTS song.

bailove

Do you mean their blue and grey live performance maybe?

CC

This is when I became army!! I’m a BE era army (late autumn/winter 2020), they truly were my saving grace during the lockdown years. I was in uni, feeling lonely and isolated, and was so grateful to have BTS’ massive catalogue to binge at all hours of the day 😂 Especially life goes on was so important to me at that time, it’ll always have a special place in my heart.

CC

To echo everyone else, this video was such a vibe directed by the one and only JK. I did not know that was hobi and Jimin’s room, but it’s such a cute and lovely room. The BE album was my first album I ever bought and Blue and Grey has always been my favorite. Tae originally wrote for himself as he was going through some things, but then decided to make it a group song. I love their live performances of Blue and Grey too.

jenibel1728

If you want insight as to how they feel about working during quarantine, Dis-ease talks about that! Love that you're so diligently going through all their content and doing it in a way that fulfills you! Having the physical albums to open while listening is such a fun experience

Breanne

Blue and Grey is my fave in this album.

ORUOT72 @ladybangtan

The boys were hands on for the whole BE album. Jungkook directed the MV and it was filmed in their dorm. They were all quarantined too, and the amount of contents we got from them helped me get through quarantine. They were my sliver of happiness during that uncertain time. I was away from family when Covid hit, and the company I worked with booked us in a hotel in front of our building so we can still get to work. We were quarantined and provided for by the company for 5 months. But I was genuinely scared for my family back home and we could only talk via video calls. Whenever anxiety and panic attacks would set in at night, I'd binge on BTS vids to calm me down.

ORUOT72 @ladybangtan

It was a difficult time for BTS. The restrictions in Korea during the pandemic were no joke, so they couldn't perform and meet ARMY. The interior scenes were filmed in their dorm, the bedroom scene was J-Hope and Jimin's room. As several people have already written, the music video was directed by Jungkook. I recommend the behind-the-scenes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LQIIV7uQDfs I also recommend BTS's reaction to their music video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=80vX4ccYY6g My favorite live performance is MTV Unplugged Presents: BTS "Life Goes On" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LQIIV7uQDfs The way their voices beautifully harmonize is pure poetry... And the way they look!!!

Bernix100

this song really helped during quarantine. they gave us sooooo much content even during lockdown. just shows how dedicated they are & how much they love us 🥹. armys blew this song up when it came out :)

luna

Loved the directing by Jungkook in this video. Some of the scenes were actually filmed in their shared apartment, super cute. :)

Trose Elizabeth

the harmonies combo were jin/jungkook & tae/jimin & it scratches the right part of my brain every time

gia

I just watched another reactor do a super deep dive and they spent like over an hour on blue and grey. I should’ve remembered that rap line wrote their parts lol. This song along with we are bullet proof eternal has me in instant tears. It’s so beautiful. I love how he effortlessly goes from singing very low to hitting beautiful falsettos in this song. Another song I would love for her to react to is inner child. That song broke me and healed me all at the same time lol

Thida Duch

Peachy oh Peachy, the entire BE album was a warm hug during the person, they were responsible for everything in it, even the photo concepts and album design

Hope

Blue and grey was my rock during that time... it's mostly Tae's baby but the rap line wrote their parts. I still remember namjoon venting to yoongi about how much he wanted Tae to choose his lyrics for some lines but Tae took some of Yoongi's lyrics instead 😅 it was a funny interview

Hope

vmin do the most beautiful harmonizing 🥺 there's something really special in the contrast. that deep velvetiness of tae's baritone, combined with jimin's pure-toned high register... just soo good. 😭 I swear, there's a song/performance they do in this era where they swap the usual roles, with jimin doing the low harmony and tae going high. but I can't for the life of me remember what song, or where I remember seeing it. surely some army knows!

zofeya

directed by our own JK, multitalened king. 😭 and if I'm not mistaken they shot most of it in their last dorm. the bedroom they're in is the big one that was shared by jimin and hobi.

zofeya

Blue and grey is one of my fave! I believe Tae and RM wrote this song. It was a time when Tae was experiencing depression and this beautiful song came out of it. Maybe you could watch the lyric video first then live performance on mtv unplugged or their PTD concert performance. I also like fly to my room it’s hard to explain the vibes but it’s a “unit” with yoongi, hobi, jimin and taetae

Thida Duch

i love this music video so much! its so sweet and warms my heart. jungkook directed it and he did such an amazing job! also don't forget you missed the music video for "we are bulletproof: the eternal". you really need to see it! its a very important song. 💜 and you've heard "blue & grey" btw. they performed it at the PTD concert and tae's original version was played during "in the soop". its definitely a song we'd like to see you react to again. i love the mtv unplugged performance! :)
