2025-02-05 05:00:48 +0000 UTCAbsolutely love this song! It's so dramatic. And I refuuuuuuse to believe this isn't BU. The imagery is way too spot on to be a coincidence. I mean, the sand in the hourglass running backwards and all the glass exploding.......? yeahhhh. Gotta be BU. I think since Film Out (the song) was made as an OST for a movie, it just would have been kinda problematic to advertise the mv as part of their own storyline. But ahhh with the BU in mind, Jin's expression when he opens the door to see all the other doors just breaks my heart! He looks so tired and defeated :( That and that one really ominous shot of him standing apart from the other 6 under the blue lights at 8:50. Oooooooof someone saaaave him!

Film out is a literal masterpiece 💜 This MV doesn't have the BU mark on the description box like the other BU related MVs but it's really inevitable to think about a connection bc there are a lot of references that makes so much sense with the storyline and not just as an OST for a japanese movie. Anyway, you have to listen this song live! It's superior omg

I know some ARMY don’t like him, but I find him hilarious. Plus I’m sure BTS has seen them. JK recognized him when they watched his cover song on that Glamour interview. The song was featured on the soundtrack of the Japanese film "Signal" (this is not the first time a song written by Jungkook has been featured in a Japanese film - the same thing happened with Your Eyes Tell). It was the closing song for the Japanese film remake of a kdrama called Signal, which in turn was loosely based on the American movie Frequency. confusing enough? 🤣 The plot of Signal features time travel shenanigans, so it is similar to the BU in that way. And this MV isn't specifically labeled as BU content, so one could theoretically argue that any similarities to the BU here are coincidental or unintentional. to that, I say there's no freaking way, and I will die on this hill lol. they could have made literally any MV imaginable for Film Out, and what they chose to do was a Jin-centric narrative, featuring him looking meaningfully through a window at the other members (practically the whole plot of the BU right there 😂). and then they chose to practically recreate shots from Fake Love (indisputably a BU video). and they specifically chose to feature different members doing things that are significant to their BU counterparts (i'm trying not to be too spoilery even though I know Peachy has seen all the BU MVs at this point). Basically I don't think there's any way it's unrelated.
