I don't know if watching this explanation cleared things up for me or just confused me even more LOL! I was so locked in, i feel like I barely spoke but I was really trying to retain everything been thrown at me and holy heck, it was a lot!! it's so amazing how dedicated to this story line BTS/Big Hit were for several years, you can really see how intricate and well thought out the story line is, their hard work for sure paid off.
Now the big questions are.. will the boys ever bring back the BU and will Jungkook ever forgive Jin?! LMAO I nEED ANSWERS

Bighit on Weverse announced last year that they retired the BU World Game which contained the animation seen in parts of the explication videos . What an artistic loss for ARMY 😪 WE still have the Webtoons though!

2025-02-27 06:39:29 +0000 UTC@Ana, I really want a season 2 as well😫 the story building would go crazy so I hope the company running the shows production would consider but I’m honestly doubtful since they premiered the show in such a sucky way (behind a paywall with no big promotions) If I remember correctly, I think I got to episode 6, when the show really started escalating with the boys’ tragic storyline (especially jimin’s) and I chose to stop because in my mind, if I don’t see the characters/actors I’ve already gotten attached to getting hurt, it never happened😀😭

2025-02-26 23:18:00 +0000 UTCSerious BU theorists like XCeleste impress me so much because this story is literally in thousands of tiny pieces (the Notes content is just diary entries out of order) and they are able to thread it together. I’ve seen like huge spreadsheets of all this stuff lol. Highly recommend the Save Me webtoon as it really explains the overall story and you get to see how hard this was for Jin, one mistake and bam he’s back like several months and has to start all over again 🥲 There have been so many recent HYYH/BU references, like in Yoongi’s tour content and now in Hobi’s tour trailer, I’m so sure they are building up to a conclusion or at least more of the storyline!

It’s really something else! 😶 it’s a lot of info to take in but you will eventually connect more dots and remember by rewatching things. What I recommend you 100% is to read the ‘Save Me’ webtoon first and of course rewatch the BU MVs in order, and then you can watch the ‘Begins=Youth” kdrama. (take in mind they used BTS’ real life last names + different names from other BTS Webtoon not related to the BU called 7 Fates Chakho ). Peachy about the Notes or the Books, they have a lot of details of course but I get why it’s hard for many to read them, this video explained really well the main parts of it!

2025-02-26 16:05:41 +0000 UTCI'm such a nerd--I've always been into lore and world-building so the BU was a MAJOR part of my ARMY-journey early on. I have a document that's 51 pages single spaced full of notes and symbols and connections--XCeleste did an EXCELLENT job summarizing and organizing the narrative but when I tell you there are easter eggs and details EVERYWHERE in BTS' body of work, I mean it. If you have time, now that you've seen this, I definitely recommend watching the K-Drama that was made based on the BU. It's the same story but played out in a more digestible way. haha. The actors they got to play each of the boys are PERFECT. Hobi, Jimin, and Yoongi's characters most of all, but they're all really strong. They bring in the mannerisms of the boys, the habits and personalities, I swear the guy who plays Namjoon even SOUNDS like Joon. It's uncanny. And it really brings the story home emotionally. Plus the relationships between the pairs are so sweet. As a JiHope fan, I might be biased, but Hosu and Haru (Hobi and Jimin's characters) are just UGH so so cute together. I had just enough time to start to get the gist of the BU (up through Young Forever it seemed kind of straightforward because we didn't have the timey-wimey twist yet...), but then those solo films and like, Japanese BS&T had me going down the craziest tumblr rabbit holes. Is JK in some kind of limbo? Does he have beef with Yoongi or are they gonna make out? Where is hobi, no not cool seriously why is his bed empty? TAE NO DONT DO JIN LIKE THAT! Wait why does Jimin keep covering his eyes, oh god, he bit the apple and smirked. What did he see? WHAT DOES HE KNOW? WHY DID IT DRIVE HIM CRAZY?? It was a crazy time and I miss that weird sense of community fixation, lol also just gotta say... I don't ship real-life members, but if BU yoonkook don't get a happy ending I will RIOT 😂

2025-02-26 10:06:09 +0000 UTCthis summary video is GREAT as a high level overview, but it glosses over so much of the detail from the notes. obviously xceleste couldn't cover everything or her summary would be HOURS long. but yeah, some of the questions you had? are definitely answered elsewhere. all the members' back stories are more fleshed out than we see here, and there are a lot more connections that celeste doesn't touch on. the notes are honestly crazy. there's like, several novels worth of stuff in them.

2025-02-26 09:35:03 +0000 UTCI haven’t finished the show yet because I know what’s to come later😀 so I’ve been putting off finishing it by myself til I’m sure I won’t be crushed mentally because the actors for all of the members are honestly so good and I’ve seen nothing but praise, especially for the actors portraying hobi and jimins bu characters like u mentioned. But yea if peachy decides on watching it later I’d honestly be thrilled to watch it with someone and be able to discuss in the comments so I don’t go insane by myself with theories and questions (and emotions)😭😵💫

RM, Suga and Jimin's stories will break your heart fr. Like the show makes everything fall into place. And I love all 7 so much just like BTS. Like I will throw hands about them lol Please react to Begins Youth. It's soo good and underrated. I'm so excited to see what they will do with JK's character 😩😩 like omg he has so much mystery around him now. And you definitely see beginnings of a little darkness in him in begins youth. I also don't think Jin hit him. Ugh I need them to update the storyline so bad. It's gonna be so good when it's back though. With this situation with Jin and Jk. It's not a good day to be a Jinkook bias in the BTS universe 😭😭🥺 last I love how they switched up our usual duos in the storyline it's soo good

And the actors omg they pick the perfect actors especially for jhope and Jimin. And the show is amazing. You have to react to it. You'll see why Jin has to be the savior. Well it isn't confirmed it's just my theory lol
