this song is EVERYTHING to me oh my GOSH!! I never expected a solo Yoongi song to be about the ups and downs of a relationship and for the live performance to be SO certifiably slay!! His stage presence was everything! This man was doing STUNTS, working with props, dancing while standing and sitting and his voice was STUNNING!
I am now a #1 SeeSaw fan FOREVER

She debuted as an idol in 2021 bu kept contact with them bc she also participated in the D-DAY album 💜 (they are probably friends ngl and not just have a artist x producer relationship, the same goes with Yoongi and the Capitxn )

2025-03-04 07:53:03 +0000 UTCyea you definitely remembered correctly😭 I think it’s definitely a song parallel to outro:tear in the sense that both of them were written with the same meaning behind them of not wanting the relationship to be over even if it’s hurting them, but also not wanting to accept it or be the bad guy who breaks it off anyway. I love that they released them and had everyone thinking that it was about romantic or toxic relationships in general that can happen throughout life, only for yoongi (BOTH TIMES) to explain way later (years later for seesaw I believe😀) that the songs were written about bts🥲

2025-03-04 07:41:06 +0000 UTCiirc (and someone please correct me if I'm remembering wrong)... is that the Beyond the Star documentary kind of revealed that this song isn't about a romantic relationship at all... but probably hints about the difficulties bts was going through as a group, at the time when they were on the verge of breaking up. definitely gives it a whole new heartbreaking perspective. 😭

I haven’t been able to find the full performance in that outfit again, but I know it is in the stage mix. I vote for stage mix just to get a glimpse of holey sweater Yoongi!! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
