Y'all on Patreon recommended me this song and I cannot thank you enough! This performance was so freaking dope from the staging to the dancing to the ABS SHOWING?!? I will never be okay this man ruins me every day and I LOVE HIM FOR THAT.
Now, I do have some mixed reactions because after I watched the performance, I read the lyrics and it definitely put me in my feels but I'll let you watch the video and see that for yourself. ^^

There’s a very famous edit of V during DNA and his outfit changes with every word, not line, it’s really remarkable. The other thing about stage mixes is they help YouTube channels avoid copyright issues. My Time was taken from the MOTS ON:E online concerts which was 2 concerts on consecutive nights. That was my first BTS concert October 2020. I’d only found BTS about a month earlier. I’ve never enjoyed a concert as much before, because let’s face it most acts can’t replicate their studio quality. BTS don’t just replicate it - they are somehow even better live. Now my most fave thing is seeing BTS live. I’m grateful to them that they are just as exciting to watch live online. During the pandemic they were a godsend, I’ll never forget during that online concert I was fist pumping like I was in the mosh pit during their hype songs. Trust me, no one was more surprised than me that an online concert did that for me. It’s happened at every online BTS concert I’ve seen since then too. Which is great news for me as I’m unlikely to attend an in person concert. I am perfectly satisfied though watching them from the comfort of my home. As you saw in the Permission to Dance concert BTS are masters of playing to the audience through the cameras so honestly being an online viewer is fine.

It's an interesting juxtaposition, and part of his reality, maintaining his youth while taking on adulthood so early. He was only 13 when he signed with Big Hit and moved away from his family into the dorm. He was 15 when he debuted, carrying the roles of Main Vocal, Lead Dancer, Rapper and Center on his young shoulders. The song is poignant, but does come to the conclusion that he made the right choices, and that he is content. Also, this performance was during Covid, so it was an online concert. They performed two nights in a row (the video you watched is a mix of both nights). Sadly the concert was their much anticipated and eventually cancelled Map of the Soul tour. Those two night of online concerts are the only performances of many of their songs, including all their solos. You'd like Jimin's "Filter". It also has a sexiness to it.

It's from an online concert they did in 2020, so that's why there's no live audience (pandemic era, doncha know). That's why whoever uploaded it had to do a stage mix edit of it, because it was paid content. So I think it was a way to avoid copyright. Now that you've been introduced to the concept of a "stage mix", try the Singularity stage mix featuring Taehyung. :D (Although first maybe watch the Singularity MV - it might be labeled comeback trailer but it's a full MV - if you haven't seen it yet! I can't remember if you have or not.)
