I definitely fumbled by not watching these MV's in order but to be fair, I don't think my brain could even comprehend the complexity in these videos being connected anyway! This video got me SHOOK for real! It really felt like I was watching an entire action movie, I was so immersed!!
Yoongi constantly reminds me how WRONG I was about BTS before diving deeper into their music! I really thought they were all rainbows & sunshine 24/7 but I could not have been more off. They all have their own struggles and journey's and the way they uplift each other to get through the hard times in truly beautiful.
UGH I LOVE THIS MAN! Should I react to a full Agust D album or WHAT!?

Now, I love the rap parts in all of the songs. I can’t wait until you start watching their music award show performances. Everyone will want you to watch the 2019 MMA (and I do, too). You can do that first or start at the early ones and watch them in order. That’s what I would do. Also, don’t forget the American Awards performances: Billboard, Grammy, American Music Awards. (Hint: JK’s abs trended after the 2018 Billboard performance). And all the Jimmy Kimmel (and talk show) performance (as though you have nothing else to watch). 😂😂😂💜 I love the album reaction idea, too, but for all seven, not just Yoongi.

But after this MV was released Yoongi was offered an acting role bur he turned it down because he said he is not an actor and that he is not good looking enough to be an actor, which I totally disagree to both..haha I don't what he is talking about because Yoongi is so hot and handsome and he can act as confirmed by the multiple MVs he has acted in. I think he is just not comfortable full on acting in a full movie or series, but I would be cool if he did a guess appearance 😉.

There are behind the scenes too that you should watch. Suga is an underrated dancer so you should watch his dance practice to Haegeum as well. Interviews will get you to know more about the guys, so I recommend them too.

It can be interpreted as an encouragement to break certain rules and free yourself from everything that limits you. The idol world is full of bans and orders, many "normal" things are perceived as "scandalous behavior" e.g. smoking cigarettes. An idol has to be perfect. They shouldn't drink, smoke, swear, go on dates, etc. BTS often broke away from these rigid norms. And the scene with the cigarette smoking is such an example. As for smoking... definitely Jungkook and RM. JK was caught by paparazzi and the video went viral, and RM accidentally posted a photo on IG, which he quickly deleted. Maybe Yoongi, because you can see in the MV that it comes naturally to him. There were also suspicions about V, but there is no hard evidence, just a blurry photo. The music video also references the films Joker (the scene in the police car) and Scarface (the scene in the bathtub and Suga's shirt). Yoongi also mentioned that the 6 members of his "gang" was intentional to symbolize the 6 members of the band.

As time passes, the scar has become more and more healed, and we can see Yoongi killing off old versions of himself. Daechwita, the scar is fresher. By the time we get to Haegeum, it's more healed. And Amygdala, the final MV, showed us how he got the scar in the first place. it's a prequel, but it was released last and is meant to be watched last.

So by smoking in a highly successful mv, he’s basically sticking up a middle finger to all of them who try to put rules on others

2024-10-08 05:56:28 +0000 UTCYoongi in a suit really does hit different, but when you watch his D-Day concert you’re gonna lose your mind cause wow Also yeah maybe watch a reaction to what the Agust D trilogy of music videos mean, he did have the scar in the first 2 videos but in amygdala you finally realise WHY he had a scar in the first place and why it was significant🫰🏽 I think you would definitely enjoy listening to his D-Day album. To make a reaction video of that just pull up the Spotify album to know the order of the songs and then find the ‘colour coded lyrics eng sub’ of the songs on YouTube and go in order, once you’ve done the D-Day Album I would recommend at least finding the set list for the D-Day concert and listening to the other songs too and finding out their meaning before reacting to the concert so it’s more enjoyable for you since you’ll know the meaning of the lyrics🫰🏽 Thanks for the amazing reactions as usual peachy 🫶🏽
