We've made it to the final episode of In the Soop but the universe wanted to fight our Army power and decided to cut my internet not even halfway through the episode so I hope you'll still accept this humble offering of a video LOL.
This is the episode we FINALLY got to see RM and Tae throw DOWN in the kitchen and oh my gosh it was the cutest thing ever! Seeing Tae use olive oil and basically deep fry the steak to RM trying to reassure him while also internally panicking was so cute and precious. I can't wait to watch the rest of this episode (hopefully tonight) if my internet decides to agree with me HEHE!

I'm late and trying to catch up, but WHAT the actual nonsense?!! Original content is ALWAYS the best way to learn about the members and the way they interact. Compilations and clips by their very nature only show tiny bits, and are edited and packaged to tell very specific and sometimes distorted stories. Anyone saying that compilations are a better way to learn about the members personalities because original content isn't them being real has bought into one of these specific narratives, and prefers that to the truth. It's such a disservice to the members when people prefer fan edits over content that they themselves have created and approved of.

The guys split up into units to sing Christmas songs -- Yoongi/Tae, Jimin/Namjoon, Jin/Hobi, and Jungkook had a solo. Just look up the 2019 Christmas Carol Medley! (I don't want to spoil it for you because I want you to be surprised to what songs they sing, but they sounded so good!) Also, Jin, Hobi, and JK had a unit song called Jamais Vu -- it's amazing as well!

The edited compilations are fun but they are better when you know the context they are pulled from. In any case, this is your army journey and you should watch and listen in whatever order feels best to you. I kinda jumped around and binged everything all at once (and had a blast) but there was a lot less content back then. I am ready to watch whatever you want to watch ☺️ I will say Bon Voyage is super fun if you choose to watch that next! There are also summer and winter packages that are kind of like mini vacations too.

Jhope, Jimin, and JK are very driven and competitive, like executors with perfectionism, JK more so, which all are slightly different than ambition in my opinion? And there’s RM, a philosopher who seeks purpose and meaning of their existence as a group more than their actual achievements.. so I think that’s also different than ambition. Lastly, Jin and V are joy-bringers who keep everyone in the present and focuses on happiness which protects members from “overheating” As I am analyzing.. it just sounds too good to be true 💜… they are so perfectly balanced.. like how? Even🩸blood-related families don’t reach this level of harmony…😂 mine included

Every content of BTS has a behind so if you do watch any soop or bon voyage you need to watch behind a lot of good things. In my opinion and I’m sure every ARMY

But overall, yes, I think it's JK : he said many times he wanted to be a global superstar, the greatest... He reminds me of Michael Jackson a lot. When MJ won a Grammy for his first album "Off the Wall" (which is mentioned by the way by V in the Dynamite song), he was not satisfied. He said he wanted to do better next time, not only just better but "the best album of all times"... and he came back with the "Thriller" album. He said many times he wanted to be the greatest enternainer of all times, to amaze people. He was such a hard worker, having perfect, pitch, being a born-singer and dancer. JK's mind and skills are really on these tracks. Even when I see JK's fire in his eyes when dancing hard, he reminds me of MJ's fire. And you know what ? For this century, I really think he's gonna make it. He will always be with his brothers, but also work on solo things : he said he wanted to try all kinds of music and be able to sing everything he could...

Compilation videos are fun, but they're just a bunch of edited clips without context. It'd be really easy to create any sort of dynamic through a 10 minute compilation video, lol. In my opinion, In The Soop and Bon Voyage are the BEST way to get to know the members and their dynamic with each other.
