I love the way he changed up Justin beibers '2U' and really slowed it down for us. All that man needs are his vocals paired with any single instrument and it's a win for ME!
Decalcomania was a way different experience though. The lyrics and message that Jungkook was trying to portray in this short clip he posted to Twitter on his birthday hold such meaning to them. After listening to it again, I found completely new meanings for every word sung and I almost feel like he was talking to himself in the beginning of the song and asking himself if he even recognizes who he's become.. AH!! My brain is going crazy over this track and a dope as it would be for Jungkook to release the full version, I think the fact that he only dropped a minute of him singing this and then deleted it adds more beauty to the entire experience.

We all wanted a full version of this song. Maybe later in life. I bet it would have been a beautiful song for the fans to interpret into our lives. 💜

2025-06-24 18:27:36 +0000 UTCSadly, it was revealed by JK himself that he has deleted Decalcomania both from his pc and and later on fans saw that it was deleted from his social media accounts too. Back then, ppl thought that was because it was included in his mixtape but there are several assumptions as to why. 1. maybe it was too personal for him. 2. maybe he wanted to show the world a different side of him but didn't want to worry fans, maybe he thought they would misunderstand it. 3. maybe he initially wanted to share his feelings but had a change of heart bc he got intimidated by the nature of the song (too personal, too honest, somewhat dark). sadly, other than a few snippets of here and there, i haven't really seen jk share his thoughts on a song regarding fame, regarding the constant running, or how he truly feels, regarding how they were often looked down on from many ppl (you could say he did in my time but bc of the nature of the choreo, many fans didn't really lock in the song, they were panicking over him, RIGHTFULLY SO). golden was basically jk singing other people's stories. so, i would love to see more from jk regarding his own feelings.
