Here's the story... yesterday, I thought it needed to look like they were both a little sadder, and I thought it was important to show Billie's face better as well, but it's hard to do when one's face is buried in another! So I redrew the thing from scratch, and I sort of gave up on getting exactly what I wanted out of it going in, but I liked the new art better anyway, so I kept it. I also debated the use of birds eye vs worms eye many times in my head. Worms eye (new) is a little more dramatic and makes them look impressive, while birds eye (original) does the opposite, making things a little withdrawn. I liked the idea of the latter, but I think the former worked better more readily. Playing down the importance of a big moment purposefully might be a little too avant garde even for me.
