One thing I noticed, not covered in the video, is that Polearm Master’s feature which grants an attack when a creature enters your reach, is no longer an Opportunity Attack. It now states, “you can take a Reaction to make one melee attack”. This is a substantial nerf to the PAM + Sentinel combo, as Sentinel specifically states you can only drop a creature’s movement to 0 when you hit with and Opportunity Attack.

Polearm master works with quarterstaff which Is a monk weapon and so dex is useful.

Good point. Slipped my mind that deflect is stronger now.

Their reactions are extremely valuable for deflect attacks though, so I wouldn't think that is a good idea.

Or maybe with six options at level 10 it didn't make sense anymore. +1 to charisma and 4 or 5 extra sorcery points would still be a worthy feat IMO

No MetaMagic Adept feat anymore or did I miss something?

Polearm master doesn't work with sentinel anymore; at least with the reaction when entering your reach

If Polearm Master can boost dex and can be used with a staff, is it a good choice for a monk? They have lots of uses for their bonus action already, but reactive could be nice?

Medium Armor Master wasn't a "half-feat" in 2014.
So they replaced the part that removed disadvantage on stealth checks with +1 to STR or DEX, wich is a HUGE upgrade in my opinion.
I think this is a good feat now. Not very strong as it still requires a niche build. But +1 to AC is nothing to sneeze about - ask the defensive fighting style feat ;)

If one of my players would pick the Crafter Origin feat, I would add the discount to the Poisoner Feat as well, just to give a slight upside to that combination

Looking at the posioner feat. Which I will always feel like it better in certain campaigns than all of them due to the types of creatures that have posion immunity.
But if I'm reading that right the bonus action applying of a posion is any posion correct. Like of I found carrion crawler mucus I could apply that to my weapon instead of the posion I create.

Mage slayer + some form of teleport = easy escape from Forcecage. Also protects against things like feeblemind, plane shift, dominate person/monster, and other extremely nasty effects at higher levels. I would have easily given this a 4/5 for every non-fighter martial and would consider it even on casters at higher levels. Failing mental saves is the quickest path to a very bad time and having insurance against that is priceless. I will be taking this a lot.

The mounted strike was nerfed too. Before it didn't need the creature to be unmounted, also the 5' is atrocious as far as the lance and other reach weapons go.

Polearm Master, Reactive strike. This isn't an opportunity attack anymore, so no longer works with sentinel which is a nice change.
