Technically, her queerness was already known, since, like Marcie, Grace, and Mandy, she was part of an all-queer team in It's Walky! and characters maintain their sexuality across universes. It would definitely still catch a lot of fans off guard though, and I agree, the wailing and gnashing of teeth over even such a minor character "coming out" will be a hoot.

2015-08-29 04:05:56 +0000 UTCIf it weren't for the fact that Becky distinctly said "lesbian" at a pretty loud volume in the middle of a church (and yeah, that may be not the best strategic move, but never mind that), I would've assumed we were witnessing a Hilarious Misunderstanding where Sierra is only talking about platonic love: "I love people! People are God's most perfect creatures!" As it is, it's refreshing to see Sierra glide right by the identity conflicts that have ruled Becky's life as if they're not even there. Christians have vaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaastly different experiences in different denominations and churches, a fact I had reinforced for me recently.
