Wishing Stone Part 01

Allen had been bugging me all morning about wanting to show me something. He refused to tell me over a text message and demanded that I see it in person. This was the first time he’d ever been like this. The entire semester he was completely normal for a roommate but this morning he wouldn’t stop texting me. ‘ALRIGHT!’ I finally texted back as I changed out of my PJ’s.

At the moment I didn’t really care about how I looked. It was too early in the morning to really think about it. I had class at ten but I usually just rolled out of bed at 9 took a quick shower and walked to class. The campus wasn’t huge and it was easy to get across. I didn’t really care all that much about what I looked like. It’s not like I was here to impress anyone. Just go to class and graduate. That’s all I wanted out of college.

I often watched the other guys going to parties and getting drunk on weekends but that was never for me. Just the thought of it made me a little sick. Having to get ready and then purposefully drink until you threw up didn’t seem like all that much fun. Or at least that’s how I’d seen people socialize. I didn’t get it. But I wasn’t about to experience it either. The thought of hanging out with those kinds of people just didn’t do anything for me.

I walked into the cafeteria and saw Allen sitting at a table. “You made it!” Allen said excitedly.

“Yeah I made it…” I groaned. I still wasn’t happy that he’d woken me up so early. “So what’s this crazy thing you wanted to show me?”

He pulled out a bright blue stone and held it in his hand. “It’s a wishing stone,” he grinned between mouthfuls. I was too busy looking at his breakfast though. Somehow he’d talked the staff into making him Belgium waffles with the works. They didn’t do it for anyone else and wouldn’t tell anyone why. Most people didn’t even know about it.

“Yeah?” I rolled my eyes. “Where’d you find it?”

“Some relative sent it to me. Don’t really know why. Said I’d really like it. And it works too. Anyone who hears me make a wish can know that something’s changed but anyone who doesn’t has no idea.”

I stared at him blankly. That was the dumbest thing I’d ever heard. “How do you know that? Have you even made a wish?”

“Yeah,” he laughed. “Several.”

“Oh please… I’d notice if something was different,” I sneered.

He laughed again. “No you wouldn’t.”

“How do you know?”

“Cause you haven’t noticed yet,” he took another big bite of his waffle. “Here how bout I make a wish to show you it works?”

“Oh?” I was thinking about his offer. But as he offered it I didn’t know what to wish for. Having the world at my fingertips and I couldn’t think of anything. I looked around the cafeteria trying to figure out what I should even wish for and then my eyes landed on Christina. Her long black hair drifted over her right shoulder. Somehow despite being so early in the morning her makeup was completely on point while she still looked like a model in a magazine. I’d stared at her in every class I’d had with her. Purposefully picking a chair that was diagonal to her. “How about you wish that Christina comes over and asks if I’m doing something tonight?”

“Sure,” Allen shrugged. “I wish Christina would ask Sam what he was doing tonight. I wish she would want to do something with him as well.”

“What?! I didn’t want that part…” I looked over at her and saw her get up from the table. “Shoot!” This didn’t make any sense. There’s no way she’d be coming to see me. My mouth went dry as she got closer. She was going to turn away. I knew she was going to go some other direction. But no she was headed right for me.

“Hey,” she smiled her perfect smile. Her red lips parted showing off her bright white teeth.

“H-h-ey,” I coughed out. My mouth mumbled the equivalent of, “How’s it going?” but I couldn’t tell if she actually noticed or not.

“So…” she said with a valley girl tone. “I know this is so random but I was wondering if you’d want to take me on a date tonight. I know you’re not really my type or whatever but like would you want to go out or whatever?”

“Y-y-yeah!” I finally made out. “I’d love to!”

“Alright. Meet at my dorm at 9. Then we’ll leave from there.” Christine walked back to her table. I didn’t know what was going on but she had just asked me out on a date.

“Believe me?” Allen had that shit eating grin on that I hated so much. “It’s real…” His voice raised only to taunt me even more.

“No,” I lied. “It was just a coincidence. Maybe she realized what she was missing out on.” I flexed my arms showing off my invisible muscles. All I could think about was how I looked nothing like the tall, broad shouldered, thick muscled guys she was normally clinging to. “Or maybe she wanted a break…” I said a little more gloomily.

“Or maybe the stone actually works and you’re just being a jerk,” he was smiling again. I bet he knew I was lying but wanted to test the stone out a little more.

“Alright. Then make another wish.” I looked back at the Christina’s table. “Why don’t you make their boobs and butt’s bigger? Like real nice and round!” I was getting a little excited thinking about her clothes stretching even tighter around her curves. I couldn’t get over the idea.

“Nah…”

“What?! Why not?”

“Cause there’s nothing in it for me…” he sighed.

“So?? There’s plenty in it for me!” I didn’t know how to convince him. So I had to resort to begging.

“Nah… How bout this though. See that security guard over there?” He pointed at the chubby campus security guard going on his random patrol. He didn’t really do much except walk around the campus trying to look intimidating. Too bad his balding head and a uniform that was a little too small for him often called for more ridicule than intimidation. He’d probably been working here for several years and never got around to getting a new one when he’d gotten bigger. “How about I change him?”

“Why would I want you to do that?”

“Because you want to know the stone’s real, right?” He was mocking me now. I just glared and gave him a light nod. “I wish that security guard was 6’4” with a pro wrestler type build and full head of hair. I wish he was just barely approaching 30 and had a uniform that fit him just a little too tightly.”

“You still want him to be uncomfortable?” I sassed.

Allen just laughed. I turned my attention back to the security guard. His nearly bald head had filled completely in with hair. The salt and pepper look had quickly turned back into a golden blond that swooped up and to the right. I stared in disbelief as with each step he seemed to grow another inch taller. Each step the weight around his belly trimmed up. He didn’t look like he weighed any less. But rather all the weight went to his arms, shoulders, chest… Butt… Legs…

My mind trailed off watching the giant cross the cafeteria. Everything about him was big and bulging. But all of it was fit tightly into a uniform that was just a little too small for him. He looked just like one of those big name wrestlers you’d see on TV and looked like he worked just as hard too.

To everyone else it was like nothing had changed. There had always a giant security officer roaming the halls. And most importantly he was in a uniform that was just a little bit too small for him. It strained against every muscle he had. His broad chest could be seen across the room while his shoulders looked like they could snap the fabric apart at any second. And if he bent over too quickly his pants might tear.

“I wish he’d come over and tell us why his uniform is too small.”

“Huh?” I turned around to Allen unsure why he’d just said that. But then the security guard changed his trajectory and headed straight for our table.

“Hey guys,” he said. His deep voice demanded respect. “How are you this morning?”

“Doing good,” Allen smiled. I could pretty much see him masturbating just by talking to this guy. The security guard oozed masculinity. His large arms and confident stride made him seem almost unreal. Technically he was. “I just kind of noticed that you’re uniform is pretty small… Why is that…?”

“Oh that?” the security guard laughed. He stood straight up again and I caught a glimpse of his badge, ‘Carson’. He stopped laughing. “That’s cause this school never expected there to be someone this big working here,” he flexed his arm for Allen. I felt like that would have been weird if it was anyone but Allen. Guys seemed to love showing off for him. Hell even I sometimes felt like I should. Even if nothing was there.

“Oh? So you like to work out?” Allen inquired.

“Like to? I love to!” He stood back up, flexing again. I could have sworn I heard something rip but Officer Carson didn’t seem to notice. “But I can’t get too much bigger cause the school doesn’t have anything I can fit into…”

“Awww… That’s too bad… If only you didn’t have to wear anything at all…” Allen seemed to be off in dreamland again.

“That’s the dream!” the big guy laughed and gave Allen a nice slap to the back. “But I’ve got a feeling most people wouldn’t like that.”

“Says you,” Allen joked. “I’d love to see you naked!”

Officer Carson blushed. If it was anyone besides Allen I’d figured they’d make the guy uncomfortable. “I guess,” he tried to hide his smirk. “Anyway I’ve got to get back to work. Enjoy you’re breakfast.”

Allen went back to eating his Belgium waffle with the same smug face he always had on. “It works,” he taunted.

“Yeah… Yeah…” I dismissed. “That’s still pretty cool though. Now I get a wish!”

“Pffft! No?” Allen laughed. “What gave you that idea?”

“What?? Why’d you tell me about the thing if I couldn’t make wishes too?” I sneered.

“Cause I wanted to see what would happen. Now I know.”

I sat there with my mouth hanging open. “You’ve got to be joking… Let me make a wish.”

Allen sat there and thought about it for a second. “You said you’d notice if I wished for something to change right?” I nodded. “Then how about if you notice something that’s different today then I’ll let you make a wish. So everything you notice that’s different I’ll give you one wish.”

“That’s not fair!” I nearly shouted.

“Sure it is. You said you’d for sure notice. Why isn’t it fair?”

I didn’t have anything to respond with. He’d called me out. “Fine… I’m going to notice everything you wish for.”

“Then you’ll have a lot of wishes.”

“Fine. Go ahead and make a wish.”

“I wish you would go to class and forget about this conversation we just had when you get there.” He kept eating his waffle like nothing had changed.

But I felt my body start to move on its own. I couldn’t control it but I could feel I was headed to my class. I tried to hold onto the table but my legs just kept moving. “Screw you,” I glared.

“Enjoy your class,” he waved me off. I couldn’t hold on for very long. But before I left the cafeteria I did notice his attention had shifted from me to someone else. Over in the corner of the cafeteria sat Lance, the 6’4” linebacker that Allen had a big crush on. I couldn’t stay long because I was currently headed for class.

Anticipation~~ =D

I just realized Allen wished for Sam to forget the conversation. Does that mean he’s not going to remember the wishing rock and not notice anything? Guess I’ll find out.
