I had surgery!
Added 2019-07-03 02:40:15 +0000 UTCSo long story short, I had a massive hernia and had to get an emergency operation to shove 6 inches of colon back into my gut. Post-op, it is very difficult to sit for long periods! So, uh, I may not be able to draw for a while. We will see. Early days.
I, of course, have my three month buffer for the regularly-published strips, but please be patient with me for the second bonus strip for June. Or maybe I'll see if somebody wants to do a guest bonus strip. Can we do guest bonus strips? is that a thing? i dunno

That having been said, I had a herniated disk in my back a while ago - I know, it's a very different problem, despite the similar name. But they both make sitting a long time a problem, and I think they both make standing a long time a problem. While my job allowed me to take the time off I needed, my insanity did not. It didn't take long before I was going stir crazy. But various coworkers of mine at work had already gotten the solution for my issue for themselves: there are a variety of desks with motors that will raise or lower them, so you can change it from being a sitting desk to being a standing desk.
