2019-07-05 13:13:04 +0000 UTCOkay, here's where I think this plan went off the rails: somehow "Sal pretends to be into Marcie" has morphed into "Sal and Marcie pretend to be into each other," which is a very very different thing. Malaya's competitive streak might be aroused by the former, but we've seen no evidence that she's a compulsive homewrecker: Podcast Boy was likely unattached when she flirted with him and Joe definitely was. She's a jerk, sure, but is she that SPECIES of jerk? I was thinking Sal'd pretend to be pining and maybe "let something slip" in the room that she shares with Malaya when Marcie wasn't around. But oh well!
