"Fuck me for going to a college and needing a shelter to live in and being assigned to a room and through absolutely no fault or knowledge of my own the former occupant of that room went through a tragic fate that there's literally nothing I can do about amirite??" I think Ethan gets that upon being immediately indirectly called on it.
