This is true, good advice. Probably not for the most altruistic reasons of Dorothy but still.

BBCC

At least she's self-aware enough (for now - this could change if she keeps spiraling) to almost-explicitly TELL Walky that she had not-so-pure motives for wanting to find him. (And Walky knows Dorothy well enough to realize how out-of-character this is for her.)

Harold

Y'know, I *was* in favor of Dorothy leaving the cast because of the damage that her once-rewarding associations seemed to be doing her. But *now* I'm in favor of her leaving the cast because of the damage she's starting to deal out to everyone else. "You can be selfish sometimes" meant...other things than this, Dorothy!

T Campbell

Love Walky's line in panel 2. Kinda sums up a lot of Dorothy's choices lately. Also funny that she told Joyce off about pursuing Jacob (deservedly) but is pulling a similar move here

Sam G

I feel like she's going to get there while Joyce is still in the tree, be so laser-focused on Joe in front of her that she doesn't notice Joyce is there, and just lay into Joe, unaware that Joyce can hear every word. Kind of a callback to Dorothy and Becky arriving at Joe's door to hear Joyce venting with Liz about Christianity. Edit: looking at the preview panel for April 3, Joe's in the same outfit and what looks to be the same general area, and he's looking upward. Joyce may be in that tree for a few days.

Darastrix

To _actually_ answer Walky's question, I think it's just take it slow, take off some clothes, kiss, cuddle, let her try things that feel good and play, just have fun. Suggest things that seem like a good idea. No rush or pressure. Campsite rule, enjoy the beauty of nature and leave things better than you found them.

Shane Wegner

She is confused, and I think her values are getting caught up in her confusion. Compare this with the way Joyce felt she could pursue Jacob after her loss of faith.

Dan Rabin

I’m getting DOA! Dorothy vibes lately, except now Dorothy is like manipulating herself.

Daniel Adams

So let's be sure I got this right: Dorothy was going to try and seduce Walky away from Lucy in order to cope with giving up on her dream of being President, but she decided to STOP doing that because she found out that her plan to control Joyce didn't work. Getting real hard to feel for Dotty these days

Riley Aurelia

Thank you! That’s what I’ve been thinking.

Andrea Andrew

Her need for Joyce is greater than her need for Walky it seems.

C

YES DOROTHY EMBRACE THE DARK SIDE! BE SELFISH! COCKBLOCK YOUR EX OUT OF SPITE!

Gale Tazzin

Oh, leave them be, Dotty! Joyce is mastering her tree climbing skills and Joe's too flustered to point out its the wrong kind of tree for her to climb anyway.

Gloomlie

I like Dorothy's stalk-to-kill posture in the fourth panel. We might have fun trying to predict how many of Joe and Joyce are in the tree when Dorothy catches up, but the real question is whether and how Joyce tells Dorothy to stop trying to separate her from Joe, and further, whether Dorothy and Joyce's friendship can get past that for Joyce to counsel Dorothy on the loss-of-presidential-dream matter.
