Trying to hook up with Walky was only shitty because he has a girlfriend and it wouldn't be the end of the world if she had some drinks. She is in a depressive episode because being kidnapped last year and also recently giving up her former dream. She is reaching for things she avoided because of that dream probably subconsciously to prove that her world won't end if she does them.
