No, it's not. Sal's said being around her parents made her feel like she was dying at 13 and she wouldn't have survived winter break in their house without Walky. It truly, TRULY cannot be overstated how bad her parents are for her mental health

(I've always thought that Jocelyne's attempt to reach Joyce was along the lines of, "Hey, would it be OK for me to come visit? I have something I need to tell you, and given recent events I think I can trust you.")
