Most of us have been laughing and nodding our heads the last couple of days at Robin's wacky antics and her convoluted-but-logical reasoning. Now, though, we're seeing that her actions in giving Jason a TA position are causing serious (if unintentional) collateral damage by making Dorothy spiral further and faster. Damn you, Willis.

2023-07-03 14:16:02 +0000 UTCI'm also a Jew and in my experience a lot of evangelicals know a lot about Jewish traditions, albeit through a warped lens, because they want to appropriate them as their own or argue that they're invalid/outdated. (I knew a evangelical guy at my last job who got Bar mitzvahed, even.) I don't know how far the Browns tilted in that direction but it's not impossible they knew families that did.

Is this something Becky would also know, or something Joyce knows because she was extra devoted, or something she knows because she's now dated two members of the tribe?

I think another possible (likely?) explanation is that now Joyce has a Jewish boyfriend, she's focusing her religion-special-interest energy on learning as much as she can about his ancestral faith.
