I'm confused. So Walky's just going to waltz in with Amber and tell his parents "Hey, this is my OTHER girlfriend... what do you think?" in hopes they'll tell him to stick with Lucy? Because personally, I suspect they posess the capacity to disapprove of more than one girlfriend at once.

That isn't that much Coke, but it's weird it happened three times.

The ex-girlfriend whom Charles and Linda have met and liked, and who just half-assedly tried to rekindle the relationship. Now I can't un-picture her being there. (I can also envision Jennifer showing up, seeing the Shenanigans-in-Progress, and feeling the need to jump in as Alpha Bongo Problem Solver. And making things 100X worse.)

2023-07-11 04:45:10 +0000 UTCIt's impressive how this scheme has spawned from them appearing to be simultaneously remembering and forgetting that Walky's parents already met Lucy, who was introduced as his girlfriend. And Sal is cool with Amber, which they don't know. Actually, they may not even know that Amber is still enrolled since they just assumed she'd have to withdraw when Blaine was murdered. And Danny will be there, and he also dated Amber. And ironically also had Amber meet his parents as his fake girlfriend when he was dating Amazigirl and explicitly not dating Amber. And Walky just shot down Dorothy yesterday because he's a good boyfriend who will not cheat, but if she ends up at the location where they're having dinner, unaware that this is a Shenanigan In Progress.... Oh yeah, this has the potential to blow up in SO many ways
