The colors don't match Joyce dreams.

If this is Dorothy’s dream, it means she wants to ride a horse pants-less with Joyce.

I also like the dream logic of having some attitude and everything in the dream being informed by it. I wonder if Willis has lucid dreams because when this happens to me it feels on the edge of lucid dreaming. "Everything is going to work out! Oh, I'm not wearing pants which would usually be upsetting? Nah it will be fine for reasons I'm confabulating on the spot! Oh the paper isn't of my speech? YES IT IS!" (this is of course assuming it's Dorothy's dream; if it's Joyce's then it's less lucid-y and more just Joyce projecting insane confidence onto Dorothy which makes sense too).

Hrm. You know what, I'll take that action... Dorothy's been going a little manic. I also feel like it's always *your own* pants that are randomly disappearing in dreams.

Dorothy doesn’t need pants. Robin said that that is just senators.

Obviously not Joyce's dream because it doesn't have the La Porte clock tower devouring someone.

My guess is that this dream is Joyce's, not Dorothy's, since Dorothy is acting more aware than Dorothy, and Joyce's characterization is more realistic compared to Dorothy's exaggerated, confident characterization which more resembles how Joyce regards her than how Dorothy sees herself.

She’s dreaming of Dorothy after a night with Joe? Poor Joe.

My bet: It's Joyce dreaming. And it's right after sex with Joe, because she's sleeping right above him. The horse size comment is pretty suspect, because he's sturdy and tall, and shit. I don't know how, but I think they aren't in Sarah's room.

Disappearing pants is a pretty perfect rendition of dream logic. At least how my dream logic works (as far as I can remember). Something will be assumed to be normal in your peripheral vision and then it's weird as soon as you examine it. And you have to assume it was weird the whole time, but there's no particular memory of it either way.
