I mean, there is irony here, just not comedy

Dorothy bringing up keeping/doing shabbos in conversation as 'keeping the sabbath' is very interesting to me. I don't know a single atheist Jew -- or even any reform or reconstructionist agnostic Jew (like me!) -- who would bring it up like that without a thick coating of self-aware irony. But, also, I'm coastal. Maybe inland they say it that way more because of... surrounding christians saying it that way about...?

For sure. I mean its only taken...12? years for her to find out this much.

Katrina Marie Paton

dorothy is ethnically jewish and has, herself, raised the issue of keeping the sabbath in this convo

"You folks"? Joyce, you know Dorothy is an atheist. You are really not acquitting yourself well in this conversation.

Be sure to intone the penitence phrases of “Whoopsie-doodle”, “Oh well”, or “my bad” as you do the Shrug of Sort-of-Sorry for… making Joe work a tiny amount he eagerly agreed to on a day that might or might not have been even slightly sacred to him.

Fair question.... I guess?

Dorothy isn't really religious, Joyce, so you may wanna ask someone else! That said, that answer is pretty consistent with a lot of the Jewish people I follow, unless they do mikveh.

I'm worried when we cut back to Walky n Lucy they'll be leaving the stadium talking about the issue at hand, and not dropping the peoples elbow on Linda

You’ll find out who’s trans soon, Joyce.
