Jacob's hair is confusing me right now. Did he shave *around* the bleached part on top?

Lots of credit to Jacob for being cool with this for so long. Not sure how much longer can take, but... emotionally mature guy!

At this point he could deliver himself to her door wrapped in a ribon without her acting on it

We could be reading this strip wrong. Maybe it's just a continuation of the previous strip's buttockial preoccupation, and Sarah runs past Jacob because he has turned around, and she has to get ahead to see his behind. :-)

Does Jacob have the slightest desire for Sarah's companionship, or does he want to fix her?
There are arguments both ways. We know from the day with Harrison and Joyce that he's rethinking the checklist approach that got him with Raidah, and that he could have gone for someone as puzzling as Joyce were it not for her use of deception.
On the other hand, he's a big Dorothy (https://www.dumbingofage.com/2017/comic/book-8/01-face-the-strange/majesty/), and Dorothy likes to fix people.
Without seeing Jacob confide in anyone about Sarah, we have to allow for all angles.
Sarah, though, is clearly *terrified*. Of what, exactly? We don't know. Over to you, David WIllis.
