That's the very thing Dorothy said she was here to protect against- not take advantage of herself! Even if Joyce made the move, there's a risk of her lashing back and saying it was all the alcohol. I see people hoping for make-outs. I'm just hoping they get home and go to (separate) beds.

2024-04-13 11:01:01 +0000 UTCI don't think a drunken makeout would be GREAT for Dorothy's mental health right now. She still sees Joyce as someone who needs to be taken care of and protected. She still blames herself for Joyce getting hurt, and just earlier was worrying about what if she can't protect her. This is Joyce's first time drinking, they don't know her tolerance or limits, and she's already clearly drunk. If they were to end up making out, once Dorothy sobers up, with how she's been lately, I can easily see her going into a spiral about not only having failed to protect her, but also having been someone a too-drunk-to-consent Joyce needed protection FROM. Even A kiss where she realises in the moment that 'no, bad, Joyce is drunk and cannot give informed consent, plus she's in a monogamous relationship' and pulls away as soon as it clicks in her head what she's doing would probably mess her up. A full makeout session? Fucking hell.
