Panel 1 composition and acting set up this day's-end strip perfectly, with Amazi-Girl's hands on hips, and Joyce and Dorothy leaving the elevator in opposite directions. 3. Skinny Panel 5 is beautiful and loaded with meaning. 4. The borderless panels at the start and end of the strip connect to lengths of time on either end; borderless panel 4 is a key pivot for Dorothy, computing the new situation, hat in hand.
