2024-05-14 20:51:38 +0000 UTCTo everyone who says this sinks Dorothy/Joyce, look at the context. Joe’s her boyfriend, and he hasn’t let her know he’s fine with her seeing Dorothy or any other woman. Of course Joyce (in the closet and unwilling to acknowledge her feeling for Dots) is going to reassure him and act like she doesn’t want to be with Dorothy.

And now Dorothy doesn’t want 3 any more? There’s nothing wrong with liking someone just because, but on the listed reasons, the playing field has been leveled a lot. Which is good, because equality is better in relationships anyway, I think.

Today she says she wants to be Dorothy. Such feelings can certainly coexist, but hmmmm. Note also that Joyce is rapidly discovering more Joyce to still be, whereas Dorothy feels like she's lost all her Dorothy... and she seems to be feeling she's losing Joyce, too.
