I remember being all "yo what if we got a whole comic about Dexter & Monkey Master???" back in the day, and I'm kinda thinking that a Head Alien who isn't aggressively, maliciously cruel when given the slightest opportunity isn't my Head Alien*, and it's hard to do that kind of character as the protagonist. Head Alien needs someone who can laugh at him and also want to stab him in the face really hard. *I think Walky has said this exact thing at some point.

2021-12-07 03:38:31 +0000 UTCI’m not sure what I love more about this callback, Julia not caring about not!Danny and things coming full-circle, or not!Danny’s establishing character trait being ‘hating math,’ something Actual Danny seems to be pretty adept at to have successfully tutored Sal in, so that we can hammer home this Roomies Anti-Parallel.
