I think thats an Acoustic Electric. Its basically an acoutstic guitar that can be plugged into an amp and use an amps built in distortion or some have there own distortion and the body of the guitar. I have 1 my self. The fret board and neck are built like an electric so its smoother transition and u dont have to hold the strings as hard as on an acoustic to hit certain notes.
