Book 11 crowdfunding is live!
Added 2022-04-25 04:05:59 +0000 UTCI Excised All my Anxieties into Cartoon Characters Who Definitely Don’t Have Feelings for Each Other will collect “Year Eleven,” spanning the five storylines that start on September 10, 2020, and complete on August 26, 2021. This includes new commentary, behind-the-scenes artwork, and new character designs into an 224-page tome with luxurious glossy paper all bound up into a sturdy presentation. Seriously, these books are gorgeous. Sometimes when our house gets solicitors I whip out a book to show them how pretty it is.
And there will be a foreword by Kendra Wells! (They have their own Kickstarter currently running for the next three days, if you want to go check out KISS U.)
There’s two character magnets you can pledge for right off the bat, and they’re the ever-popular Carla and Dina! Get just Carla+Book! Get just Dina+Book! Get both Dina and Carla+Book! All things are possible. And if/when we reach $35K, we unlock JOYCE FOR EVERYBODY! huzzah I know, I know, this is all according to script, you get it. But I gotta say it anyway.
Here’s to 30 days of me being on an adrenaline high as I run this thing. Phew!

I skipped last year's Kickstarter because I strongly believe that shipping costs should be lower than product costs. I came back, to happily pledge for the 2-Books tier, only to realize that the shipping cost have increased to be the exact same amount as the pledge. Now I can't decide whether I should go for it or wait another year ;-)

2022-05-07 14:45:24 +0000 UTC1) What remains of previous magnet sets are available in the online store, but some are completely gone, so a complete set is not possible anymore if that's a dealbreaker 2/3) Each doodle is a default headshot of a different character chosen by everyone by vote for each book, though I do take requests if given. (I generally don't announce this just to keep the fulfillment process mostly streamlined.) Elaborate scenes might not work super well in sharpie, though! 4) You could add $60 (3 books x $20) to the CMP tier and that'd work. 5) They're at the end in their own section 6) Most of them are new questions!

My autistic brain is not going to handle having an incomplete collection very well, so I want to know before I get in on this magnet thing. 2. Do the doodles have to be Dumbiverse characters, or can they be Classic Walkyverse characters? Or even better, Classic Walkyverse characters meeting Dumbiverse characters? 3. For that matter, can one request specific doodles for specific books? 4. Is there a way to bundle the “Complete Magnet Power” with the “Whatever Fits In an Envelope” reward? 5. Out of curiosity, are the Patreon strips organically worked into the story, or thrown in at the end as bonus material? 6. Are at least some of these questions not answered elsewhere, or did I just make a fool of myself?
