BONUS STRIP FOR APRIL 2022

These two would be friends somewhere, I think.

Sorry, dude, you gotta specify if you want a deity to be your wing-deity.

This is like when I called for a plague of frogs on some politicians, and a busload of French tourists got lost on the way to a tourist trap and ended up at the city council meeting. Get it, frogs is slang for French people? Nevermind I'll show myself out.

I mean right now that's all Daisy is focused on right now, so I don't know how much of a real conversation they could have at the moment.

There's an observation to be made here that, in this situation, Joe's tunnel vision on getting laid may have caused him to miss a real opportunity for genuine connection. I feel like he and Daisy could have a lot to talk about, re:their mutual horniness, but she's off the table as a sexual partner, so he doesn't bother.

but it's 92 now

This isn't really something I'm thinking of because of this strip (in that I don't think it due to Joe going "I need a random lay") but I'm curious about what Joe's deal with Amber about carrying each other's baggage is gonna mean going forward with how he interacts with Joyce. I'd like to think it's "I'm going to be more actively emotionally available around her" if that's what him wanting to see her yesterday was about, but I kinda read Joe as not really cognizant of doing good by her like he has, like the genuinely supportive stuff he's saying is just autopilot to him instead of "good and meaningful advice on this thing no one else is helping her out with." Like, what he's doing now isn't "emotional honesty" it's just something he's doing there and now and he doesn't *catch* that he is being emotionally supportive to her. I really wanna see what their first post-Faith Off conversation's gonna be like.

Unliked it so you're back to 69!

It's Lina

dammit just missed 69 likes

The Do List really brought Joe's attraction power to, like, minus zero.

This is extra funny to me because Daisy is looking for the volleyball team in the food court for some reason. I suppose maybe that's where they agreed to do the interview, but I like the idea that she's just so distracted at the thought of meeting the team that she's wandering around the entire campus stammering about needing to do them.
