If Jacob and Lucy should hook up, Amber might be able to observe them without too much baggage. It could be a little weird for Lucy because of their shared Walky connection, but Amber's not the ex with whom he rebounded, so there's that.

2024-07-27 13:38:40 +0000 UTCThe problem for Amber--sorry, I meant one of her many MANY problems--is that I can't think of an MF or MM couple she could observe without causing drama. Sal and Danny? Haha no. Ethan and Asher? That's still too fragile, as is her rapprochement with Ethan. Walky and Dorothy? Not nearly as stable as it may look from her vantage point, and Walky is more or less her ex. Joe and Joyce? Probably who she'll go with, just as Joe has an anxiety meltdown ("I'M MY DAD, MY SPERM IS MADE OF POISON") and Joyce seeks perspective by doing something TOTALLY PLATONIC with Dorothy, like bottomless water skiing.

2024-07-27 12:00:33 +0000 UTCI'm not sure if you need a predisposition to it; I think almost anyone with a well-rounded imagination can ask themselves "How bad would things have to get, how trapped would I have to feel, before I wanted to just check out?" Becky's love of life is formidable, but the idea of an inescapable version of the cage Ross tried to put her in would give almost anyone pause, I think. But having those thoughts is scary all by itself, and even scarier when someone close to you has taken their life.

She had a predisposition to suicidal ideation, and even though Becky's living her best life it can still jump at her too, because depression can exist independent of circumstance
