I... thought my love of weighted blanket was because of anxiety..? I didn't realize it was an autism thing.

Can confirm this is real. My wife likes being smooshed even though I'm roughly the same weight as Joe and she is more than likely the same weight as Joyce, maybe smaller.

Ah autistic validation, I have also always loved to be smooshed

Wholesome as this is I still feel bad for Joe. Last panel he still looks stressed, like he gets the innuendo she doesn’t and he doesn’t know if he’s allowed to mention it or not. And as accommodating as he’s been for her (which is great and I love!) I’m worried if he’s neglecting a bit what he wants

When first read/skimming this comic I thought Joe was like "oh dont I 'crowd you' " as if Joyce said something when drunk that hurt his feelings. Nope! Just the autistic need to be smooshed

Not doing anything to disprove the autism idea, there Joycey. Not that you should, just saying.

Nah, I'd have trouble breathing with that much weight on me
