But seriously, we can see that Joyce is assuming that everyone else in the world is in on this stuff that she only reads about on the Web. Underneath the very fine comedy, the recent strips have been about Joyce asking some Everyone Elses "please normalize this stuff for me so that I, too, can be a sexy Everyone Else". E.E. #1, Roz, tried to tell her "you're the Everyone Else that you need", but Joyce isn't ready to hear that, so she approaches the most-rational cinnamon bun E.E. #2, Dorothy, who tries to tell her the converse, that Everyone Else is in Joyce's situation. Oops, gotta go, will return later for the One True Simple Answer. [also: they're sitting in a public area with a deck of sexual activities containing all the expansion packs and naked sketches of Joyce and Joe that will of course be heavily shipped and requested for bonus strips.]
