Her being normal about it just isn't happening, she will say all the wrong things with the best intentions, Jocelyn will likely find her sister trying her best endearing given what she knows about her.

2024-11-10 07:08:40 +0000 UTCI think this is a good time to share how my sister came out to me: While dropping me off in Florida for an internship at Disney World, she hugged me goodbye, whispered that she's trans in my ear, and booked it into the rental car immediately. However, I have issues with auditory processing, so I didn't catch what she said and wasn't able to ask her to repeat herself. After that I had to finish moving into my apartment and go to urgent care for reasons of my godawful immune system, so it was a good few hours until I remembered to text her something along the lines of "Hey, I didn't actually hear what you said earlier, so if it was some big secret then whoopsies". I feel so bad about how stressful those hours must've been, especially considering she was spending a lot of that time in the Orlando airport. Feels like a topical story, though.
