2024-11-14 05:11:57 +0000 UTCWhen I had a girlfriend finally find the courage to tell me she was trans it took a while to process it. At the end of the day i realised I didnt care because I loved her for who she is. While that relationship didn't work out we've remained the best of friends and I knew my current girlfriend was trans from the start. The friends that really confused me, and occasionally still do, were two sisters who it turned out shared the same "meat sack" as Amber would say. Originally they presented as trans but after several years they both realised they are in fact enby. The number of times I've ended up refer to one or the other as she/her instead of they/then is, to be honest, a little embarrassing to me, even though they've always been fine with it. And yes, like you I am very protective of all my friends no matter their gender.

For the record, I had a dear friend go from MTF and had my confusion and concern and now am all good. I also grew up in a sheltered Christian home! But now I am woke pilled too and had another friend come out as non binary recently (a surprise to no one) and I am very protective of my trans and gender non conforming friends now.
