Maybe I’m just a pessimist but the longer this goes on, the more I suspect that Dorothy and Joyce will kindle something very public that catches Joe and Walky in nasty crossfire.

It seemed out of character for Joyce to ignore it even in the middle of welcoming Jocelyn, and she seemed unlikely to be chill about it, but treating it as its own crisis seemed like it'd detract from the A plot. This simple solution probably should've occurred to me, but it's been an exhausting couple of weeks!

That's in real life, however, whereas this is a comic and you should absolutely resend the picture because we're all chaos gremlins.

Willis also draws her legs striding, and her arms swing as she walks, with her right fist clenched in tension. We see the illuminated face of the phone exactly when Dorothy is looking at it. At the story level, she's not returning to her room via the half-bath, but rather heading somewhere else. Many of the doors in her own wing have whiteboards, so she may be in the men's wing.
