2024-12-16 18:40:14 +0000 UTCso, why is walky looking sad? i think it's because of dorothy but not, like, because walky's actually done anything wrong. dorothy was so gung ho about the presidency, so committed to leaving him for it one day, and now she's dropped that. she's crawled back to him. walky now is like, "has dorothy absorbed this mra bullshit? is she doubting herself because she 'knows her role'?" "and if i keep dating her, am i the bad guy for enabling this? am i taking advantage of her slump because it benefits me?" (the answer is of course that walky proclaiming dorothy needs to be president and stop dating a dingbat like him WOULD be "telling her her place". dorothy would feel more pressured! but at least walky would no longer feel guilty for "holding her back." sometimes selflessness is just selfishness in a funny hat)
