"Be at peace, Son of Gondor." -I did not retain much from reading the book 45 years ago while in high school, except for a few names and some context. -Watched the movie in the theater in 2001. -Watched bits and pieces of the movie when I bought the DVD for my kids in the late-2000s. -This year (2023), I streamed the movie 3 times and now realize how truly good the movie is. Giving up immortality is too drastic for me, no matter the circumstances. Just a personal gut feel.
