JURASSIC WORLD - Full Length Reaction!

Nice reaction, Addie. In case you're wondering why the music is so suspenseful at the start of the movie, then that's basically Michael Giacchino trying to Bury the Hatchling.

Henry Wu was the scientist in the first movie!

I feel like this kind of mirrors the originals a little. The first Jurassic Park was a perfect example of a big budget thriller. Fun, scary, amazing visuals, heartwarming. The sequels were not as good. They had some elements of the original but also some major flaws that detracted from the experience, in my opinion. Jurassic World is a return to that sense of wonder. Sure the dinosaurs are no longer new, but they did new things with them in the movie. The fully-functioning park aspect makes it truly terrifying to think that this was inevitable. It was fun and scary and heartwarming and had great visuals. Fallen Kingdom lost some of this. I still enjoyed it, but like the JP sequels it has some major flaws. I'm cautiously optimistic about the new one Dominion, but keeping my expectations low. The one common thread that I do love about all of the Jurassic movies is they are just perfect escapist, popcorn flicks. As long as I don't try to analyze them too much I really enjoy them. Plus they make for great reaction videos!!

This is such a great sequel. It's one of those rare times that Hollywood realized that nostalgia can be used for good, and we can get something that's very similar to our previous experiences but build on top of those experiences! I never knew I needed a dinosaur v dinosaur fight like that until I saw it! I know a lot of people don't like the new trilogy, and they think it's a cash grab and the CGI isn't as good as the practical effects. But overall I love this story. I love that the park eventually became real, and it all fell apart like it always would. Movies ... they really are the best sometimes.
