I know he was in an accident; I'm just not fully convinced the Wampa scene was written specifically for that purpose.

2022-06-09 07:08:15 +0000 UTCFun fact: Mark Hamill, who plays Luke Skywalker, got into a car wreck before filming began for Ep. V, and he suffered some facial injuries. They had to find a way to incorporate them into the story, so they had Luke get hurt by the Wampa snow monster early in the movie.
