INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE - Full Length Reaction!

My brothers and I watched this movie so many times growing up! We would quote the movie to each other ALL. THE. TIME. If someone made a bad decision, you can guarantee one us would have said "He chose... Poorly"

Indeed, given that she won't be going into it with nearly 2 decades of accumulated baggage, she might not mind it that much. And I've never been a fan of people gatekeeping on behalf of movie franchises in general. If it's something that's pretty much universally despised, like, say, "Exorcist II" or "Hannibal Rising," then, yes, by all means, deter them from watching it for their channel... but if it's something that's just plain divisive, let them watch it and decide for themselves. You're not obligated to watch their reaction to it, after all.

I still feel I'd appreciate "Temple of Doom" more if this one hadn't gone back and reused so many elements from "Lost Ark" (i.e. the Nazis as the main enemy, Sallah, Marcus [at least he's more involved this time around], Indy having a partial horseback pursuit of the enemy, etc.). Lucas doesn't really like to repeat himself, but it seems Spielberg kind of overrode him on parts of this one. As a result, for nearly 2 decades, "Temple of Doom" had a 'one of these things is not like the others' air to it in the series.

It still tickles me that he apparently acquired all of those things over the course of just a couple of hours one summer day in his teens. ๐Ÿ˜ Also, Julian Glover is still the only actor to have the distinction of having played a Star Wars villain, a James Bond villain, *and* an Indiana Jones villain.

Happy Monday, Addie! I hope that you had a great weekend. This one ties, or maybe a little bit higher ranked with "Raiders of the Lost Ark" as my favorite Indiana Jones movie. RIP always to River Phoenix(Young Indy) and to Sean Connery(Henry Jones)! I've always love the opening where we see how Indy got his fear of snakes, how to use a whip, how he got the scar on this chin(that's a real scar on Harrison Ford), and how he got his fedora hat. And Sean Connery is perfect as Indy's father. Fun Fact: Julian Glover, who plays Walter Donovan, plays Imperial officer General Veers in "Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back". Next up is the last Indiana Jones movie(until next year): Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

Randee Carreno

I think you should watch kingdom of the Chrystal skull to finish off the series!

It's easily my favorite one. It has it all.
